This summer marked a significant milestone for Love, Hope & Healing Inc. as we hosted our very first summer camp. Our inaugural five-week summer camp program at Palm Beach State College was an incredible success with 10 high school students who explored a wide range of skilled trades and other exciting career paths.
The aim of this camp was to provide high school youth with a unique opportunity to not only explore the world of skilled trades but also delve into a myriad of other exciting career fields. Our dedicated team of professionals and passionate volunteers ensured that each day was filled with interactive sessions on essential subjects such as financial literacy, nutrition and wellness, employability skills, interviewing techniques, resume building, mental health awareness, soft-skills cultivation, and even public speaking training.
