Ignite: The Father & Son Grill Challenge
IGNITE: The Father & Son Grill Challenge is a family-engagement, positive male mentorship, and mental-wellness experience presented by Lowe’s Home Improvement and Love, Hope & Healing Inc.
Taking place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM at Gaines Park Community Center in West Palm Beach, IGNITE brings together fathers, father figures, mentors, sons, and mentees for a powerful day of grill building, friendly competition, teamwork, fellowship, and meaningful conversation.
The event is designed to create intentional time for adults and young people to connect while working side by side. Participants will build and cook together, strengthen communication, practice teamwork, and take part in a therapist-led Fire Circle focused on mental wellness, stress, accountability, support, and healthy relationships.
IGNITE is about much more than grilling. The grill is the vehicle; the real purpose is strengthening relationships, creating space for honest conversations, and building bonds that continue long after the event ends.

Who Can Participate: Fathers, father figures, mentors, sons, and mentees.
Community members are also encouraged to attend for fellowship, bonding, and support, even if they are not participating in the Grill Challenge.
